Edward Tunney, Chief Executive Officer and founder of The Tunney Group, has developed and supervised the construction of commercial and residential properties for 35 years, creating value for his clients and partners. Ed is a licensed real estate agent in both Illinois and Tennessee with a broad understanding of metropolitan marketplaces. Additionally, his extensive experience in the hospitality industry as a restaurant entrepreneur and manager of a premier senior resident property uniquely qualifies him to handle administration, marketing, and financial planning of real estate projects.

Ed was the managing partner ground-up development of the 79-unit Logan View condominium and commercial property completed in 2007.  Since then, he has built and rehabbed numerous projects including condos, single family homes, night clubs and restaurants. Most recently, he built The Eagle, a sold out modern boutique condo building in Logan Square, Chicago. Consisting of a mid-rise multi-unit condo/commercial complex.

Ed began his career working alongside his father, the owner of William J Tunney Construction, a provider of single-family homes and apartment buildings in Chicago and the suburbs for over 50 years. To further his knowledge of the industry, he joined Mayfair Construction in 1977, rising to Construction Supervisor, responsible for the construction of three downtown office and residential sites-totaling more than 2 million square feet. Now, in perhaps one of his most proud accomplishments, Ed had brought in his own, adult children on to expand the family business with The Tunney Group into the Nashville market where they each are excited to make their mark.
